Any opinions on the previous model Hilux D4d?
    I'm considering a '04 or '05 Invincible model.
Mainly about driving dynamics and reliability.

    Thanks

There is no doubt that the toyota is a fatastic machine but at the same time they do seem to be a bit over rated, they can still give trouble so you have to consider if its worth all the extra money they will be looking for it.

They do seem to hold their value well. But they are still good prices to be found if importing from the UK.
Example - 2005 invincible version around 50k can be on the road here for about €17k

Most are well over 20k in Ireland.
