Sky+ box losing picture settings

    My Sky+ box keeps losing the picture settings. Every time it reboots the picture settings are all set back to 4:3 and PAL rather than 16:9 and RGB. It's very irritating to have to keep resetting them.

    I've tried doing a forced reload of the software and it hasn't helped.

    Any ideas?

    After you change the settings in the picture menu, you have to select the "save settings" option on the bottom row ;)

    I've done that umpteen times. It still forgets the settings once it's been powered down.

    Basically I've tried saving the settings, saving the settings then powering the box off to allow it to save anything etc.

    The settings will just randomly default to 4:3 PAL

    I had a Pace sky+ box that did this, the only answer was to replace it.
