    Hi all , wondering if anyone has this as ive just gotten one and find the skype calls pretty s*it mostly , also the network in general all weekend and today has been dropping calls or not connecting at all ( normal calls not skype) anyone else havin probs ?? thanx

    I find 3 coverage pretty good usually as it falls back on Vodafone when there isn't a 3 mast nearby but that's strictly for regular voice calls.

    As for the Skype calls, well there are a lot of variables there when it comes to call quality. You won't get logged in without a good 3G signal but once you are I've found the quality of voice ok as it uses the voice network. However, if your signal is dodgy to start with then all your voice calls, will be sub-par, Skype included.

    Also, for Skype the quality you get will also depend on the mic of the person you're calling. If they're not using a headset or another Skype phone then don't expect great results unless they have a very good mic.

    Perhaps there are general coverage issues in Swords...

    Thanks , yeah swords is pretty s*it in general , well my end of swords is anyway as im so close to airport , thanks for the reply
