just got a D-Boy MK12 MOD1 SPR, having some trouble with different clips mis-feeding.

I understand there is some kind of fix and that this is a common problem.

    The dreaded magazine catch problem

Anyone know what the fix is?

    Thanks

If they are hi-caps they need at least 30 bbs in them to wind up.

    This is a common mistake.

    Motosam, Thanks for the reply.

    All the mag's are full.

    Are they working now?

    Over filled ie crammed in?

Usually dboys mags work well in dboys aegs.

    No not overfilled.

You can put some pressure on the bottom of the ones that don't work and they work fine.

    1.. echo clip - works
    2. AE clip - works if pushed slighty forward.
    3. dboy hi cap - mis fires unless pushed up from the bottom
    4. factory clip - works

They have 90% full bb's - wound up - all work great in my echo 1 m4.

check out the little clip that holds the BBs into the mag, thats more than likely the problem., it might even need a slight trim with a craft knife.,

I have heard about triming the clip - extacly what part of that clip do you trim, i.e. back, front, side? The main plastic area that has the sliding part and spring?

The little part that slides on top with the spring? If so which part of that?

    Thanks for the help.

I'm having the same problem with my KWA G36
I need to take the clip out and re-insert it to be able to fire off another 3-4 before it stops feeding, then repeat. Its full, hop up is fine etc, clean, my hi-cap works flawlessly.
I had a look at the clip that holds them in and it looks a bit larger than my hi-cap one, is this the problem ?

    Thanks.

oh right., you didnt mention you had a mag that works perfectly., yeah it could be the catch that holds in the BBs, you could try tripping it slightly with a craft knife.,

I did, I said the hi-cap works flawlessly.
I want to make sure that tripping it with the knife is the way to go about it because its not exactly something thats reversible :)
