What courses are reasonably priced (say €20-€30 mid-week) in the South Dublin area.

North wicklow any use, I know Glen of the downs are doing a tee time special for 20 euros at the moment.

Dublin City golf club is another option. Beautiful scenery and the course is decent enough too.

Not in Sth Dublin I know, but not a million miles away all the same - I played Craddockstown in Naas on Saturday (lovely course) and only cost three of us €18 each with a member which I thought was cracking value.

Played Dublin City recently. It's an interesting course although the fairways needed to be cut and some of the greens were unplayable (on the 11th I three putted from 8 feet - the putt had over 4 feet of break in it and I did well to keep the ball on the green). Good value though.

I have a voucher for Green Fees for 4 people at Beech Park that I'm selling. It's an unwanted prize. Please contact me if you are interested: <contact details snipped>

I played Dublin Mountain tonight. Good value course but once again the greens were far too fast. On at least two occassions I pitched onto one side of the green with a wedge just to watch the ball run off sideways across the green............I would have had to pitch off the green and hope the ball rolled on.
