How long to wait before phoning?

so i met a lovely girl on friday, we both got on well and agreed we should go on a date, texted her early yesterday, she still hasnt replied, how long should I wait to call her to see If I have the right number or see whats the craic if shes ignoring me or what. Do girls normally take ages texting back cos she seemed well up for it! And I don't wanna seem desperate If she still will text back.

I would call her tonight.... IMHO its bad manners she hasnt replied yet and implies that she MAY be playing games. If you call her and it goes to voicemail then leave her a message but dont call / text again....

She's either not bothered, messing with your head a bit, or she didn't get your message or you didn't get hers. You should have expected a response by now otherwise.
I'd probably send one more text asking if she got the other one and if she still wants to meet up. If she still didn't reply I'd forget about her.

rang her and shes didnt answer! couldent hear her voice message cos the reception was going mad and I was swearing at the phone, pretty sure it got recorded and I left a rubbish message telling her to ring me if shes still up for it!

There are no rules. Anyone that says so is just being stupid. At least you made the right choice by ringing her. Are you sure she answered though, as you said the signal was bad.

I wouldn't have bothered ringing her after she never replied to the text tbh. If she didn't reply to the text it is plain as day she isn't interested. I don't know what other interpretation you could put on it.

in fairness if you liked somebody and you had no credit you'd borrow a phone (to send a txt back) or move heaven and earth to get credit.
