    Hi,

I have been lucky enough to finally receive my free sky+ box. Now I have multi room and I'm currently using all four outlets on the lnb. When they pop round to install new box will they supply a six way lnb as standard?

Also do I have to have it installed where i have multi room? Could I put it else where? Will it come with another viewing card?

    Thanks for your help.

They'll need to change the quad LNB for an Octo LNB (8 outputs).

I presume you're currently using 4 standard Sky boxes, all with cards? If so, one of them will be replaced, as to the best of my knowledge, Sky only allow 4 cards per household.

This should have been discussed when you were on the phone to Sky.

    hi byte,

thanks for your reply, i currently have sky plus and a standard box multi room. prob i have is that when i first got sky installed i got extra wiring done so have access points in bedrooms and backroom so i can move box around if i want. when i got multi room nice sky man just pulled out my extra access points. my sky dish is out of reach with my ladder so i'd like to keep my extra access points as they are, now will sky provide a octo lnb with a standard installation or will they screw me for the price of one?
