Is there a one stop program for making a USB key bootable?

Ultimate Boot CD can be installed on a memory stick.

Make sure your USB stick supports booting. Quite a few of them don't.

Indeed :) Though I suspect any PC produced in the last three years or more does support USB boot.

It's fiddly and tiresome though, don't expect to be overwhelmed. It may boot one day and refuse completely another. The FAT32 system on USB keys is the major problem I suspect.
