Big problem, I moved a computer from one side of the room to another and now when it boots up it cant fond the SCSI drive. The mother board is giving two beeps then it just says that it cant detect the drive. I have checked the connection and the power connection but still nothing. any ideas?

I checked the conection from the drives to the motherboard and the power connector, but both are fine. I wouldnt have to reseat the memory or video card would I? Seeing as it just says it can find the HDD?

The two beeps would suggest something could be loose.

Is it a SCSI dirve? and is it connected directly to the mainboard?

If it's connected to a SCSI card, then that could be unseated.

    Fixed now.

Reseat everything then checked through the BIOs again and the SCSI controller on the motherboard had been disabled somehow! Doh!

    Cheers guys!
