    What kind of equip do you use for sports shooting ?

    300 2.8 L ?

    I have a 70-200 f2.8 L IS .. thinking of using it to start ...

    I might pick up an extender rather then get a 300 L lens ..

    way too €€€€ for me...
    at the moment anyway ...

    The 70-200mm f/2.8 is brilliant for sport. It doesn't have brilliant reach, but is good for games you can get close to. I use it a good bit for my sports images and would certainly recommend that lens.

    Most games I go to I have sideline access so its make a big difference as you can move with the action.

    Its also a big advantage if you can read the play so you know where the ball or sliotar will next be.
