Getting phone unlocked

    Hi,
I know there is a place on shop street but it is always closed on from 1-2. It's also a pain to go right into town to get parking etc.

I think there is a place on the headford road right beside that big car park near Richard Walsh cycles. Is this place still open? Or is there another place around?

    Thanks.

Why not get it unlocked by the network?

It's one of the new Nokia 6300's.

How do you get the network to unlock it and why would they anyway?

sometimes depending on how long you have been with them, they will give you the unlock code. If you are on prepay it depends on how much you have spent on credit.

Here at Trycktill.com you can unlock your locked phone and download Tunes, pictures and Java games. Trycktill.com are mainly a Swedish site and we will try to update this English section with more things as soon as possible.

Yep, best to get the code from the interweb, that's all the guys in the shop will do anyway and charge you 15 quid for.

usually a year for billpay, but it depends entirely on the contract. you can find out pretty easily by asking, like mentioned here. they are obliged to unlock once you're initial contract has expired because it's you're phone.

oh and word to the wise, if you use the interweb to unlock you only have a limited amount of attempts (usually 5 i think). if you mess that up you're in for a lot of hassle trying to sort it out i believe as the network have to go to extra lengths to unlock it or something.
