Monthly Lenses - Who On Here Uses Them?

Well the question is in the title...

I use them all of the time now but have gotten infections recently, recurring in the right eye but I'd say it was bad luck as I have been using for ages before with no trouble.

Anyway I used to use Bausch&Lomb PureVision but was moved to CooperVision Biofinity lenses by my contact lens specialist in Specsavers. They have higher water content or something...anyway they were more comfortable and were not causing me the problems the PureVision were.

I just happened to stumble across that Specsavers EasyVision Elite lenses are actually rebranded Air Optix lenses from Ciba Vision and now I'm kinda wondering have I been wearing Air Optix and not Biofinity like I have been meant to...

Anyway lads and ladies, what do ye use and how do ye find them?

I use them and have never had a problem (acuvue). I used to use the daily disposable ones but it is just so nice to wake up in the morning and be able to see straight away.

I use air optix myself and never had a problem with them, havent got an infection yet thankfully. I find them really good, they very rarely tend to shift in my eye and even stay in while i'm surfing which for me is fantastic, I've never lost a lens surfing !

And how did ye come about getting the right lenses? Through your own choice or through advice from optician?

I was buying my lenses from specsavers for a while and then just transferred my prescription to the online retailler I buy from now. They even rang my optician themselves to get a copy of the prescription.

Cool....but how did you find the right ones? By being with SS for a while I assume...

By the way, what do you do if you ever get a problem with the eye then? I often thought about buying online but if I ever had a problem with the eye I wouldnt be covered by SS I don't think.

I use the standard "All Day All Night" lenses from Specsavers... I know they're rebranded, but not sure what they are before the branding. But as said by hunnymonster, it's so good just to wake up and be able to see. :)

Only problem I would get is occasionally my eyes feeling a little dry, partucularly when I'm tired, or when I wake up. Anyone recommend drops that work well with these lenses?
