What's that big pipe then?

After once again disagreeing about what the big pipe over the M50 is, I thought I'd post the question on here. It's just north of the toll bridge and is near the railway and canal bridges. What's the big pipe for?

Completely forgot the name of the river, and couldn't find it on Google maps yesterday to confirm my suspisions about the pipes contents.

I'm afraid I was very much wrong. It very well be a badger run. See this map. I've marked the route of the river Tolka as it crosses the M50, and it obviously flows under the road.

Its likely a river, just not the tolka

Its a drain. In Dublin 15 we are living in a water retaining area and from past experiences we flood. Remember Clonee and Dunboyne and Mulhuddart and and Lucan all were
under water. O, and the m50 underpass through castleknock/blanch.

its not the tolka,thats in an aquaduct beside it as far as i know,i'd put a few shillings on it being the western gas main
