Match colour of windows with front door?

We are getting in windows in 'wineberry' colour and are wondering whether we should match the colour of the door to it or go for a black / grey door? The walls will be light grey wet dash.

    I'd appreciate your views.

Matching the colour is your safest bet. But there could be other options. Do you have outer sills? what colour are they? if they are white you could go with a wineberry door with white surrounds.

What inspired the wineberry, hope you dont mind my asking?

The windows are marvin and we wanted something different. The houses in the area have either black or white pvc so we wanted to pick a different colour that wouldnt look pvc given we were paying so much for the marvin. I think it would be better to have everything in the red/wine colour.

We have red windows and a red door to match, and I'm pretty pleased with how it looks against the white dash. It gives the house a nice country feel. Marvin are lovely, we looked at them when we were doing ours and they seem very well made.
