Ryanair Refund on Altered Flights

Ryanair have just notified me that our flight times have changed. They are return flights, the outward flight has changed by half hour, the inward flights has changed by 6 hours. The email offers us a full refund based on these conditions:

If you do not wish to accept your flight time change.

As your flight times have changed significantly (more than 2 hours before or after the original scheduled departure times), you may apply either for a Travel Credit for the unused flight sector(s) on your booking or a full refund of all monies paid.

When you click on the link provided you can choose which flights (including the outward) to get a refund for, or simply choose all. However will the refund apply to the outward flight which is only changed by half an hour? I am suspicious of the word 'apply' being used to get the refund.

I don't know the answer for sure, but you are right to be cautious. You are most unlikely to have return flights; you have probably got one-way tickets to where you are going, and other one-way tickets from there to where you started from. Neither flight is contingent on the other except in your head.
