The glass on the top of the hob started to crack yesterday. Its gone from back to front. Can i get a relacement top for a hotpoint 6343 unit or will i have to replace the full unit? :o

Usually, it's possible to get a replacement glass top, though at what price...

Try the likes of Quinnspares or Exsparetise maybe.

Would it be covered by your insurance?
If yes, I'd get a new one!

Would ya not need a professional to come in and write it off first?

the hob top should be easily replacible but it will cost you a fair bit (around €150) and thats not including labour
