    Wouldn't use wd40 or anything but I've used vaseline and then to keep them from unscrewing themselves while shooting I've used string wax on them

    You mentioned vaseline to stop screw coming out of the threads, i have a sight block where one screw decides to screw back out every 3 shots or so on a good day, do you reckon some vaseline could prevent this???

    :confused::confused::confused:

    Bit of string wax would probably do the same thing.

    String wax works a lot better than vaseline.
