Decent tac vest, a real russian surplus one in bekas 4 colour if possible, 3 colour is easier to find.
drum mag, acm steel one, they actually seem to work well.

mods:

Finish rpk, customise receiver with epoxy, paint it, get a stock set, rewire the mosfet with connectors as it is permanently soldered in place for now.
When I have the ak74 install active breaking auto reset mosfet, other bits and it will be invincible!

I came accross an American company at one stage that were planning on custom building an AEG for you and one of the models they were talking about doing was the Tavor. Big money though. For the love of me I cant remember where I found them but if I can find them again I will let you know.

Are both crap apparently,

Go for the fixed stock version, the folding has absolutely no room for a larger battery and the ROF is a bit crap really., so you can fit a cell or 2 in the stock and have one hell of a Type 89.,:)

hmm might try something like that. im only getting the cheap element one's even though i hear they dont make a big difference. The Angel ones are meant to be great but way to costly. Did your mod make much difference? i might do something similar assuming the element "silent" heads dont work to well.

It sounds like an electric drill

The slight pop sound you get every shot is precious, getting the bloody motor to shut up would be far better.

Basically the little sharp pop you get becomes a dull thud, its crap really, i did it just for the craic.

Really, all i heard was alot of motor noise, so maybe it suits you.

The motor is a whole different ball game though to silence, decent shimming and bushes helps but the motor whine? I dunno

Pattern '37 webbing, lots of that floating about and relatively cheap too, but in saying that its more expensive now then it was a few years back and the price will only keep rising, so snap it up soon!
