    I love that borthside...hahaha.

You're 16 so should have no problem. Get your CV. into Tesco's and places like this in your local area.

If you want something more interesting, then think outside the box.

5 posts and only one of them helpfull...shower of cùnts

There's plenty of shopping center's and newsagents on the Northside, I'd say they would be your best bet, do up your CV and bring a load of them around to the various shopping centers (Donaghmede, Northside, Tesco Clare Hall etc.)

Tesco, Dunnes, Supervalue........ McDonald's, Burger King, KFC....... Warehouses.... I wouldn't expect anything more glamorous than that if its your first job! If it's not then maybe apply to a cinema or something like that. They'll be taking people on for the summer.

+1 for the cinema idea. They are always looking for floor staff. I doubt they'll get you selling tickets, well maybe not straight away.
Basically a cleaning job but it's not so bad......plus all the free films you can watch :)

Be warned if you become a glass collector in a bar. Sorting bottles outside when there are wasps around is not a pleasant task, been there and done that

I used to work in a cinema..... you'll be cleaning the theatres/rooms, selling food etc, showing people to their seats, taking tickets, and so on. If there's alot of people working in the place it can be great craic. They're usually not keen on taking on 16 year olds though, cos the hours can be quite late (leaving after 12am, etc). Worth a shot though!

Anyone know what the cinema generally pay per hour?

    Not 650 a week anyway.

It's minimum wage where I worked (the big massive one in Dublin city centre)
Taxi is only 2E home though if you can't get a bus or train because of the time.
