Hello ,just a quick question about how shops on ebay can filter bidding.

Basically I use Schuhstore occasionally on Ebay ,for trainers.
Lately when I try and bid at the last minute ,it tells me I'm not in the correct area.
Yet ,today I purchased a buy now pair of trainers without a problem.

Is it possible for them to filter out certain bidders ,as oppose to buyers of buy it now items ?

What do you mean by area? as in region?

If they only list say UK for delivery then you cannot buy it. You can email and ask for a postage quote, then change your primary address to a dummy UK one. Then you can bid.

Post up a link to one that did not work for you.

I use www.snip.pl for my sniping, has saved me a fortune. The majority of ebay users do not really know how the whole system works. Many view it as a traditional auction, while really it is a proxy auction, so there is no point in betting before the last few moments, unless just to make sure the auction is not pulled early.

    I don't have a link rubadub ,I watch so many items :p

Its the schuhstore run on .co.uk ,basically I put a bid in at the last minute and it said sorry you don't live in the right area.
So for the heck of it ,I ordered a buy it now pair and everything was fine.

Shipping was £5 with UPS ,which is sweet for a shoe box.

Ireland is listed in the delivery areas ,but not being allowed to bid on bidding items without emailing is a pain.
If I know they aren't allowed do this ,I'll get stuck into emails with them. I've got trainers there for a tenner inclusive of delivery.
