don't want to use full on fake tan as i'm quite pale and find the effect to be far too drastic. what's the best tanning moisturiser? i've used both johnson's holiday skin and the dove one, any better ones out there? thanks!

Tis not a tanning moisturiser but I find clarins self tanning gel v good and id have typical "Irish" skin.....cause its a gel you have to rub it in quite well before it sinks in so it looks natural and it gives a lovely colour.

St Tropaz everyday is really good..get the med-dark one and you'll have a subtle colour after only one application..dries quick and colour is very natural looking

if you want a cheap option, the dove one is pretty good, the darker colour.

I use the Roc one, I find a lot of the other tanning moisturizers to be quite harsh on sensitive skin. It goes on well and is very natural.
The St.Tropaz Everyday is good if your already tanned, my sister is sallow and it went on great on her, however I'm pale and found that the lightest one went on too dark, found it streaky aswell.

i've been using the dove one recently and think it is great, used loads of others and thought they were awful

I started using the Dove one two days ago and finding it ok. Im a bit of a fake bake addict but it was taking a toll on my skin and needed something more moisturiser-like. The one good thing about the Dove tan is the smell (or lack of :) )

Palmers Cocoa Butter people do a self-tanner that is amazing, really moisturising and gives a lovely natural looking glow (I find that the Johnson's one looks a bit orange on me) It smells of chocolate croissants which is lovely (but makes me hungry) It can only be bought in Superdrug but is worth searching out

I like the Nivea one. I'm very pale, but I use the one for darker skin and think it works out pretty well. I'd be interested in trying this Palmers one though - all their other stuff is lovely. Must find a superdrug.

I think the Dove one is great, the medium to darker one. And I've tried pretty much everything out there, I think it's great.
