Probably fine for taking picts of the moon, but otherwise, I'd be surprised what you could use it for. Too large to be hand held, for sure. :D

But, I suppose if you've money to spare ... you can let us know what it's like.

yea f13... bit of a problem, so it woulndt be any good for daytime pictures... like, mountains or whatever... ISO 3200, got a Canon 40d :)

i have 40d , i thought max was 1600, anyway its pretty limited with that aperture. Might aswell spend that money on a multi purpose lense.

so its not as good as it says, yea, goes as high as 1600 ISO and then theres the setting "HI" which I believe is around 3200... Would it not just use longer shutter speeds?

yeah both, but then youre mounting this huge yoke on a tripod, on top of that compensating for the ****ty f13 .
It will work on a sunny day, thats it. If you want mountain shots, go for it. Personally its a waste.

although the pictures shown in the auction look okay... ISO 200 , 1/180 sec

What are you EVER going to use that for? and the photos on the site might look okay, just about, but I'd say with any kind of close inspection they would be awful. Buy something you;ll use or an 85mm f/1.8 if you want something new to play with, it'll have many more photo opportunities than that immpossibly big and poorly manufactured nonsense.

    Just saying is all...
