    anyone know where i can get a replacement screen? its been broken for 5 months now, and i need help!!!!!!

    also machine keeps locking up unpredicatably, can anyone advise?

    I have it pluged into a dell monitor, but its a bit of a pain in the ........

    Buy a new laptop.... or remove the screen and use as a desktop replacement. Too expensive and definitely not worth it on that particular model.

    On the Dell outlet (and other places) you'll get a new basic machine for around €400. You have to wait for a cheap one to pop up though, as they are not always cheap. That price for a new one, makes it poor value to go repairing old laptops, or even buying second hand laptops. If you are prepared to have a go at fixing the machine yourself, you might buy a cheap screen on eBay. But again personally I wouldn't have the time to do all that, so I'd just buy a new one, and sell the old one for parts. If you got €50 for it, that would make the new laptop even cheaper.
