    I know you asked this question years ago, but....

    I was at a Christmas carol service tonight in Dublin and at the end, because I was in my Salvation Army uniform, an elderly lady spoke to me about remembering the Salvation Army having a "house" in Clones Co. Monaghan back in the 1930's.

    That was new to me which is why I googled it and found this post!

    Did you ever come across any further information?
