How long have you had your mobile?

This july I will have had my 6630 3 years and its's still in great condition despite my having dropped it at least 100 times. it's a great phone! Got it for 200 euro as well, there was a deal at the time where you give in your old phone and get 100 euro off so that was good!

Just wondering how long everybody else's phone lasted and if they were good value for money.

Had my Sharp GX20 for 3 years and today I killed it :( It ended up in the washing machine. What a sad way to go for such a great reliable phone.

I'm still using a 6233 I bought on ebay when they came out. I tend to get bored with phones after a while though. I bought a HTC Touch Cruise but sold it on about 2 weeks later (the touch screen just wasn't as good for texting) and am now waiting on my new E65 to arrive.

I buy a new one whenever they take my fancy.

I've had a W810 replaced with k800i when they came out and then a k810i last October. I've had that since as I can't find anything to match it.

(I carry two phones around, I'm a sad bastard ..)
I've had a e50 since they came out on o2, then an e65 since they came out and got a e51 about a month ago.

All I have to do is justify the purchase in my mind :D

I will probably win this, although it's not a prize to be proud of!

I have had a Nokia 7650 since near the end of 2002. I still have it and use it. I have bought a battery off ebay 8 months ago or so but bar that, I have dropped it, filled it with dust/water/plaster and god knows what else...

I have been thinking of upgrading for a couple of years but never get round to it.

It's my phone and it's like an old dying pet; there are many more newer, and charming models, but it's mine ;)

P.S. Heres a thread I posted not long after I got it http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=657303&highlight=nokia+7650#post657303

    Beat that :p

i'm afraid the 6230i was only announced to the world 3 years ago and wouldn't have made it to ireland for a while after that ;)

I have a N95 nearly a year to the day.

I used to average 1 phone every 3 years or so, then I got a job in O2. I had 3 phones in the time I was there (2 years!)

I like paying for a really good phone and wearing it out til destruction.

I tend to get a phone, get bored of it within 6 months (if even) and trade it for something else. I've been through, in the last 3 years, the following

    Nokia 3200
    Nokia 3220
    Nokia 5300
    Nokia 6300
    Nokia 6233
    Nokia E65
    Nokia N70
    Nokia N91
    Sony K750i
    Sony M600i
    Sony W800i
    Sony W900i
    Sony W810i
    Sony K800i
    Sony P900i
    Sony P910i
    Sony W610i
    Motorola V3
    Motorola V8
    Samsung D500
    Apple iPhone
    O2 XDA Mini S

Currently using a Nokia N95 8gig, which I've had for a month. It's probably the best out of the lot in terms of what I want (good MP3, battery, internet) but the iPhone is a very close second. The internet on that was second to none. I might have a phone from anything for a week (in the case of Motorola) to about 6 months (iPhone).

Had the 7370 since July 06. Bought a 7373 at Xmas as the other was playing up. They're basically the same phone. I like the shape of the keypad so I'd buy it again.

Still using my SE K750i 3 years on (time for an upgrade methinks). Good phone, the joystick has gone a bit temperamental though.

Have had my current phone - Sony W580i, very nice - only for 3 months, since moving to Ireland. Previous phone (that I still have, active on a French network), a Nec ... something, can't remember off the top of my head, neat little flap phone, I have had for over a year... I usually use my phones until they fail, get lost, stolen or I find an excuse to get a new one.
