There are several airports in Normandy with flights to Ireland.
The airline with the most comprehensive collection during the summer months is Aer Arann. From cork they fly to Brest Lorient and Nantes and also from Galway,Kerry and Waterford to Lorient.

Ryanair serve Nantes from Dublin and Shannon, and Aer Lingus fly Dublin to Rennes.
Car hire is available from all these airports.

Worth bearing in mind on Aer lingus and Ryanair bags will cost extra, whilst Aer Arann have a free baggage allowance of 15kg per person on a unlimited number of bags .

Your best bet is to check out google maps to see which is the best airport for you.

None of the airports mentioned by alpha2zulu is in Normandy but, depending on where you want to get to in Normandy, Rennes (in Brittany), served by Aer Lingus, might be a good choice.

Ryanair's "Paris" airport, Beauvais, is also quite close to Normandy.

As mentioned, Beauvais is a perfect airport to fly to if you're driving to Normandy.

Deauville has an airport but only for UK flights I believe.
