hope someone can help me as i haven't a clue what to do

i keep getting the message i have blocked start up programs; i have removed some programs and thought that would sort the problem but its still there

when you click on to "show or remove blocked start up program", is it the program that you first see that is causing the problem or how do you figure how which one it is

i bought an external hard drive and i am only guessing would it have something to do with this?

can anyone help me please as it is driving me mad (to put it very mildly)

its a dell inspiron 1521 laptop - if i contact dell, would they help me with this problem

    Thanks

fix all it will take a while to delete them all.
Run the uninstall manager next dump anything you dont need its probably something to do with Sonic drivers or some other bundled software.

You can also run MSCONFIG from the start menu and see what programmes are configured to run at startup.
