Where can I buy a batch of cheap MP3 players?

    Hiya

    I need to get a load (ie 20+) very basic, low capacity, easy to use MP3 players. I'm thinking probably 256mb or less.

    I've seen ones and twos of them on ebay for buttons, but I need a load of them. The only criteria are that they've got to be easy enough to use for old folks to be able to push Play (not necessarily fiddle around between tracks, as there might only be one long file recorded on them), and they need to be cheap as I'm gonna be giving them away and I only have a limited amount of cash available for this.

    Anyone with any suggestions of online shops please let me know. I've looked in all the obvious places but they all seem to sell 1gb plus, which is way more than is needed.

    Maybe someone knows of a bulk retailer that shifts old stock?

    Just had a quick look. This might be useful though.

    Aigo A215 Digital MP3 / WMA Player Works out under €10 each for the 1gb versions. About €196 for 20 units including shipping. SVP are good with shipping and customer service and are affiliated with Boards.ie. If you got onto them you might even be able to get a bit of money off, I dunno.

    Seems to be three buttons on the side, play/pause, next, previous. So not too complicated. Probably as minimal as you're likely to get.

    But unfortunetly most of the ones around the 10 dollar mark are "sd card players" and I don't think they have any internal memory. The post above looks good though.

    Thanks Taketheveil and Redisle for these excellent suggestions - I'll get on to SVP on Tuesday and see about a further discount for buying in bulk
    These do a good bit more than I need for the job, but the price is right so I'm not going to grumble!

    I might get one of the 4gb Aigos for myself too!

    Also check Argos!

    SD card models can also work out cheaper.
