Which RAID configuration?

I have 2 x 36 Gb Raptors (well, I have to take them out of another PC first) that I can add to the PC (spec is in my signature), now I'm wonder if anyone has used Asus's EZ-Backup RAID controller on this or a similar board?

I was thinking that I could set up a RAID0 (2 x Raptors) on the EZ-RAID controller with the OS/Programs on it and use the ICH7R Southbridge RAID for the 3 x Seagates for Data/files.

I just would like some more information (manual is abit cryptic) before I attempt anything. No point starting this if its a waste of time and effort.

I have 2x 36Gb raptors in raid 0 on a p5k deluxe wifi as my vista hd's using the ICH9R, no idea how this compares to the JMicron controller that comes with this mobo, I've never tried it. I'm kind of limited to the ICH9R because of the position of the sata sockets on this mobo as they are in an akward spot with newer larger gpu's blocking the JMicron ones. You've gotta keep programs out of this volume, I've documents, programs and games on a 750gb Samsung f1 sata. I'm using it for just Vista and the page file.

I have however ran 2 seperate raid 0 volumes on an ICH7R on my old Abit AW9D Max tho without any problems. 2x 36Gb Raptors for XP, 2x Seagate for documents etc

I hope in the end to have

    2 x 36Gb RAID 0 OS/Programs
    3 x 320Gb RAID 5 Data

Hopefully, I'm currently backing up stuff before i do something i'll regret :P

On-board raid 5 is pretty bad on all chipsets at the moment, write speeds barely top 15mb's and cpu utilisation is quite high.
