Last night I clambered down a gully to stand on an outcrop of rock below the mighty Benbane head.

This is the most northerly point in mainland northern ireland.

Very isolated. No mobile phone signal. No people.
Just hexagonal blocks like at the causeway, but here they are the size of minis.

No, this isn't HDR although I did use a 2 stop ND graduated filter placed at an angle of about 45 degrees.

I don't tend to use HDR although I do find it useful for some of my cave photography.

It is very nice, particularly the colours in the sky, but there are a few things I think,

    1. Maybe a bit closer to thirds? or maybe it's just the darkness on the left that seems to make that part too large or not run smoothly into the photo.

    2. Maybe yuou could have tried a HDR to bring out some more detail on the left, which might negate point one.

    3. The sea seems not sharp but not smooth, maybe try a longer exposure, 30 secs or something. Maybe that is just because the picture isn't large enough to see that properly. is there a full res about?

    Well done though, nice photo.
