    Hi

I am planning on getting some 6 x 2 trellis over the weekend for the back walls on the house. The house is a semi d so i was hoping this will break up the look of the concrete wall.

Any advice on putting it up or the likes?? Homebase have 10% off this weekend so it might be the cheapest place for the heavy one i am hoping.

I also would like to get some ivy growing on it soon enough, is the english ivy a good fast growing ivy for sunny and shaded parts?

I wouldn't bother for two reasons:
    (a) You'll have to go elsewhere besides the big DIY Stores to get good quality Trellis, but why bother ? when
    (b) ivy is a self clinging climber. Other 'climbing' plants which will conceal an unsightly wall include Hydrangea Petiolaris and Euonymus Gold.

Save on trellis and buy extra plants!! :)
