First time working with proper models. Was great once I got my jaw off the ground!

Nice photo. Very good DOF and colour in the image.

very nice [picture] indeed. With a thread title like that you are in line for a high read count :)

one minor thing, in my opinion the traffic lights box is too close to the model's head on the left, just a bit distracting.

Nice colours - But she's not a convincing guitarist.

The girl on the left should have the pink guitar, red/pink is a bad combo whereas dark/pink works for colour contrast.

    All is good.

Next time tho, move yourself slightly so that the likes of traffic lights aren't coming out of peoples heads. :D

DOF is nice but don't like that traffic light, fine otherwise :)

You don't really need a shallow DOF when shooting ladies. People (okay, men) won't generally notice anything else!

Maybe a bit of fill flash would have lighten the shadows under her hat? Bring out the eyes a bit more...

Thanks for all the comments. All very true. I'm just glad no-one spotted the fact that I photoshopped the castlepalooza logo onto the guitar. There was a dirty big signature there, took a while to remove it and bring in the logo.

If you look at any of the versions of this in the papers last tuesday you'll see what the guitar actually looked like. Lazy paparazzi!

It doesn't look photoshopped :) Even going back for a closer look it looks about right.

I once spent 45 minutes replacing someone's eyes in a formal group photo (should have taken 50 billion to ensure no one moved or blinked :() At least I replaced them with another set of his eyes from a different shot (where other people's eyes were closed!)
