Pokertracker Help? Ipoker Update

    ok trying to fix pokertarcker today since it has gone funny minus rake etc.

    was using this thread http://www.pokertracker.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2899&st=0&sk=t&sd=a

    downloaded the patch and tried this i purged all hands since april 9th but i am totally lost on step 2. please help?

    also getting a data window error now when i open although i have not completed step 2

    1. Use the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window to purge all your sessions that were played on April 9, 2008 and greater.
    2. Then reimport the XML hand history files. If you use the option of the auto-import window to have PT move the processed files to another folder then go to that folder and copy the files back to the iPoker hand history folder then use the Force Import button on the iPoker auto-import window to get PT to reimport the files.

    as i said lost on step 2 can anyone help?

    Hey man,
    Feel your pain here. I think what its asking you to do is to is to find the hand history files you played and force import them back into PT. It also says that if you used the move processed handhistories to a different folder option. Find the processed HH and put them back into the orginal folder (Ipoker handhistory floder), then force import these hand back into PT (Using auto import in PT and clicking the Force Import button). You said you purged certain files since 9th of april, i'm not sure you wanted to do this, If you purged your HH files, you have lost all your hands you played since then, If you purged just the errors file you should still have your HH files and just purged errors. Let me know how you get on.

    Thanks for the help. Appreciate it. Still no joy getting all sorts of erors wouldnt let me repair database. So i have installed PostgreSQL it is converting the database at the moment should take a while. Hopefully it goes smooth
