Hey, I don't usually put posts up for this kind of thing but I thought this was priceless. My sister sent me this link today: http://www.getthecraic.com/blog/2008/05/01/the-coronas-craic/ (link this more tidy if you can).

It's an online Irish radio show show. It was being presented by Dusty Rhodes from 2fm...remember him??!! Anyway he was talking on the phone to this auld lad down in Clare who is organizing the World Stone-Throwing Championship! But that's not the funniest party. Listen to the interview, it's comical, it's straight out of a Father Ted script! The auld lad was such a character, you could tell the presenters were trying no to break their **** laughing at him - he was being dead serious! Go to the link and press play and fast forward to about 17min 50secs. If you want a real belly-laugh have a listen to it. I had tears in my eyes!

As for the coolest thing I've heard they also have a interview with The Coronas on the same show! They even do a live song in studio, I was really impressed! I've never heard of this show before, has anyone like??? I went back on previous editons on it and they had Mundy in doing a live version of Galway Girl last week! Pretty damn cool I think! It seems to be usually presented by Ian Dempsey as well! I listen to his show on Today FM every morning and never heard him mention it! It's like a little hidden gem for cool live music in Ireland - kinda ike Joe Whiley's Live Lounge on Radio 1 in England which I love!

I'd heard of it, it's aimed at Irish people living abroad isn't it?
