Event 1 postponed until the 13th of May.

Due to emergency road works in the Phoenix Park, combined with the major flood prevention works in Chapelizord, we have been asked to postpone event 1 of the Duathlon Series until the following Tuesday the 13th of May.

    refund options are available.

Why is it not postponed until Wednesday 14th?

Not surprised at this. Was in the park yesterday and the traffic on the acres road was awful. Not sure if a week willne long enough to sort out the traffice though - the signs there said that the diversion in place would remain until the start of June.

All the bike races in the park have been cancelled this summer because of the traffic - park wouldn't let them close the roads.

All?? Where did you hear that?
The Upper Glen Road is only supposed to be closed for 2 weeks from April 28, which means it should be reopened by May 12.

Heard it from a cycling buddy. Second hand I know but I trust him.
Duathlon attract more people though so they should be good.

I was in the park yesterday with the dog and gf and there was a sign at the gate saying some roads closed from 7pm until 9.30pm tomorrow so it looks like it's going ahead.

Did anyone who applied for a refund for this race that cannot take part tonight receive the refund yet?
