Aeration unit with soil polishing filter is what I'm required to get according to my planning permission.

Is this a "Biological treatment tank" or what?

Also I was looking at some of these tanks and some are pre cast and others are not. How do I know which I need.

    Thanks in advance.

    They will be precast units.

Good old golden pages is what you need for a list of suppliers/manufacturers.

Thanks muffler, but can I ask why is it pre cast and not the other.

When would you get the "non pre cast".

There are mechanical parts in the system which are fitted at factory stage. The unit has to be the exact size to house the mechanical components together with the pre-designed chamber sizes etc.

The only thing that is ever built in site is a septic tank.

building a septic tank on site is not acceptable, although some of the older archaic septic tank guidelines which are still in use in a small number of counties allow for it there has been considerable research in the last couple of decades that come to the conclusion it is a very, very bad idea
