Anyone up for a game thursday(tonight basically) at around 10 bells?

I dont have the greatest speed so maybe someone else should host? I've 2down, alot less up!!

Oh GTA, will pick up Tiger Woods at some stage if I see it cheap somewhere. Rented out 07 and really liked it.

cool im totally addicted to tiger, thedublinreaper is my tag add me if you want mate, game are doing tiger used for 40 yo yo,s 09 wont be out till feb 09 so i hear thets why its priced so tasty ,but its worth it hours of fun, im getting gta monday i cant wait, my son lives in tallaght he,s online all the time he was saying its unbelivable and take it from me he,s got something bad to say about everything not with this one all the same.

Oh cool, I must pick it up soon so. Once I'm not quite as addicted to GTA as I am now. It's amazing. Online is just a blast. Favourite moment so far in mulitplayer was standing in the middle of a street while another guy was roaring down the road in car trying to run me down. I just stood there while he came from miles away, taking careful aim with my RPG, then Boom!, a second later the burning wreckage rolls past me, missing me by inches. Just felt like something out of a movie. Of course then someone had stolen a helicopter and gunned me down just as I was feeling invincible!

I am having issues getting GTA online.
Do you have to forward ports?
My PS3 goes online no probs but gta cant seem to connect.

It's a bit finicky, sometimes I can connect other time I can't. I think it gets so busy at night their servers can't handle it at the mo. I'd imagine they'll sort it out soon though.

99% of the time i get cannot connect to one or more players! wrecking my head. And its probably on my side but i dont have a clue about forwarding ports etc

nah I don't think it's your side. I think the Rockstar servers are just overloaded I'd say. Bit like the whole Metal Gear Online fiasco. I'd say it'll be up an running smoothly within a week.

Multiplayer looks amazing!!! Have only played it for a few minutes but was very impressed!!!
