This might sound an odd request but a colleague of mine is getting on and has to put on reading glasses to read text messages etc and its freaking him out.

I have an E51 and set the text to large, it was easier for him but the wlecome screen stayed small and he was still holding it a bit away.

I searched the forum but can't seem to locate anything specifc on hones with larger easy to read text and menus.

    Any suggestions would be welcome.

    Thanksfor the help

Any basic Nokia has fairly large font, and I don't mean the E or N series of phones. I know there's magnifying software for Series 60 phones. Best to do a google for it.

Thanks will do a search for that. Read on the web that some of the Samsung 600 series have larger text.

I keep telling him to put the phone on a pool cue as his arms are getting to short at this stage!! :D

the nokia 3109 or 3110 has the largest text on any recent phone, but only on the phone book and texts. pretty cheap at the mo too.

Thanks - seems similar to the E51, when I apply large text it applies to the contacts and the messages. Might just tell him to go with that as its a good phone all round for business use.
