Hi I'm hoping someone can help me. Trying to book cheap flights for parents to go to Edinburgh and they work out really cheap to fly into glasgow prestwick with ryanair... Wondering if anyone knows how long this would take on a train or bus and is it worth the money if its going to cause them a lot of hassle-its my dads…

Trying to book cheap flights for parents to go to Edinburgh and they work out really cheap to fly into glasgow prestwick with ryanair...

Wondering if anyone knows how long this would take on a train or bus and is it worth the money if its going to cause them a lot of hassle-its my dads first time on plane so dont want it to ruin his experience although he wouldn't mind an hours train journey...

Planning on booking flights tonight so any help appreciated.

Havnt time to read the link in the 1st reply, but i wouldnt bother with the prestwick option for edinburugh. too much hassle, too much time and too much dependence on the trains (especially the glasgow-prestwick one)

aidz, if you don't have it in you to check one link within this forum, I understand how you might not have it in you to use a couple of simple rail transfers!
