Inspire me or I'll post bad snapshots of flowers

Blurry snapshots, so help me god.

I'm in need of serious inspiration after months of shooting for a family who don't care a whit for quality so long as they have results.

Suggestions? We have many excellently run-down buildings and a whole lot of desert.

I have some sympathy.

What I have been doing lately, with not a whole pile of success is messing around combining photographs. I don't know how much of a purist you are (can't remember, actually but you do the infrared stuff so you must have an interest in processing). Take the blurry flowers and go off to the desert and get the sand and weird light and then come back and have some fun with blending different photographs together.

I'm a big fan of shots of streets and corners with tons of signs. I remember seeing plenty of those just off the strip. Maybe some of those?

Failing that there's always the closed down bars and the bars/eating places that look like they are closed, with boarded up windows.

That's what I'd be after if I was in Vegas.

Oh - the lightning storms in the desert - and the rain that falls but doesn't reach the ground.

I really wish I'd bought the camera at the start my my trip there
