So I finally took the plunge and decided to get braces. The quote I got from a dentist in Ireland is €5000, I rang up the only orthodontist I could find in Newry and they quoted me €3000- all sounds great! The only thing is they wont be able to see me for at least another 8 months:( Does anyone have a recommadation of a orthodontist up the north, as close to the border as possible. Thanks.

And also would I be right in assuming I wouldnt be entitled to claim tax back if I have the work done up the north?
