VW carivelle van radio removal

    i have a 97 VW carevelle van, the radio is broken and i'm having trouble removing it to put a new one in. Can anybody help me? thanks

    Is it a VW radio and do you know the model (BETA, GAMMA, etc.)

    You can buy these removal tools on Ebay for a couple of quid. I've heard of people removing them with clothes hangers also
