    i found a bag of lenses that my dad used to use back in the day and wondered if its possible to use them on my D60, there pretty old pentax lenses...didnt get a proper look at them but apparently they are quite good. i know the mounting system is different but i remember seeing a photo on here of a guy with a huge nikon lenses attached to a canon camera via some(presumably) adaptor between it and the mount, so can i get something like this?
    i know that i wouldnt have AF on the lenses but since i got my camera a few days ago i have used manual focus pretty much exclusively for my photos.

    Something like this;

    You'll find loads on eBay, I'm not sure about the fittings though!

    There's a lot of people who swear by old lenses on their DSLR's - Check out the alternate lens forum on FredMiranda.com

    What mount are the Pentax lenses? Their K mounts should be ok, but if it's the screw mount ones I don't think they can be used, even with an adaptor.

    Oh and if you have an 85 ƒ1.4 SMC then protect it with your life. Or give it to me :)

    There would be an adapter for most lenses/bodies.

    Just curious, was there a camera body in the bag too? If not why dont you have a look for a film body? and try a few rolls of b+w maybe :)
