Hoover Dam Boat Cruise

I am looking to do a Hoover Dam Boat Cruise but I can only see tours going by coach from Las Vegas. I plan to drive myself to the Hoover Dam does anyone know if there is a boat there that you can pay to go on during the day? As i dont want to take a bus from Vegas.
