Strat Options

I currently own a G&L Semi-Hollow ASAT and a 25th Anniversary ASAT, so I have my tele and humbucker vibe covered but I've been gassing for a strat, and I'm giving in to it. I've tried a couple for Fenders and I've found them very comfortable, but I'm not sure I want to go the Fender route as I think I can get more bag for my buck. So, I'm thinking about a G&L Legacy OR perhaps a Bacchus, the G&L, I have no doubt based on my current experience will be fantastic, but I'm thinking I'd like some variety as this will be my last purchase for the forseeable future.

So, anyone any advice, recommendations or left field suggestions ?

    Thanks

Ideally 1 to 1.2k euro. Obviously the lower the better !

Bacchus guitars seem to be quality, amazing finish on them too.
Older Tokai models. cheap enough and amazing in most cases.
You can normally get second hand american fenders. They are the nicest strats I played.

idk a whole lot so maybe wait for someone who knows more :p

While I do loves my Japanese guitars, I'm going to be unpopular and suggest G&L here.

€1000 will buy you a whole lot of G&L. The thing about G&L is that their guitars are all made to order, so, theoretically, you should be able to find what you want eventually. There's a lot more scope to find something to suit your tastes within their range, if you ask me.

I played an S-500 in Manny's in New York two years ago and it just screamed quality. That would be my choice.

Check out Nitrotone on ebay. They don't have many Legacies or S-500s up at the moment but they seem to have a lot of stock, which is always changing.

    Thanks for the replies,

I actually bought my ASAT from Nitrotone, and I'm bidding on an S-500 at the moment. I think I'll stick with either a Legacy or the S-500, either way, should have something in the next week.
