    Synopsis, from Tv.com:
House copes with a patient whose symptoms conceal a greater problem, but spends much of his time dodging Cuddy's orders to give performance reviews, and fighting with Amber over who gets to spend more time with Wilson.

I won't get to watch it until later, but I'm kinda bored so though I'd get the ball rolling!

Great episode for laying the groundwork for the rest of the season.

It really does confirm alot of the positions that we talked about in the previous thread (Foreman, Wilson etc) and also started plotlines going amber and house competing, Foreman trying to get respect from the staff, even cameron's and chases lover spat.

    My only complaints were:

13 is still a useless character in my opinion, this is further enforced by amber's return to the series and how much more screen time the other associates get (even as far as one of them figuring out the diagnosis before House, yes I cant remember his name or spell it, its taou or something)

The sylphilous subplot was repeat of the cancer subplot in season 3 (i think?) which actually annoyed me when it ended the exact same way.

I am hoping though that House is pulling a double bluff and that he does have sylphilous, but it looks very unlikely.

Pretty much in keeping with the season so far, thoroughly enjoyable episode. The conflict between House and Amber will be interesting, definitely the highlight of this episode.

The only thing I have to question is, how many more episodes do we have? I'm sure I read before it came back that Fox haven't confirmed how many episodes the rest of the season will have. If it's not as long as a standard season, will there be enough time for a solid arc like Tritter one last season?

Joint custody of Wilson. Brilliant! Cutthroat bitch is amazing, I'm so glad she didn't get cut from the show!

13 is pretty dull alright... Taub as well... Their characters combine well as a team, but there's not very much of that going on in this episode!

About the syphilis thing, when he was telling Wilson about it, and tells him he doesn't have it, Wilson said something like "so...you're gonna keep on screwing..." as though he was going to say a name before House cut him off with a "yes", House isn't screwing anyone is he?! Besides hookers of course. Maybe I misread it completely, just wondering...

I dont think Taub is as bad as thirteen, he is like a smaller Chase (speaking of which I like how they brought him and Cameron into this episode at least.) and at least in this episode he actually did stuff.

Amber and House taking joint custody of Wilson was great. I loved House calling 13 31 because she was ok with it either way.

I didn't understand the sudden cosying of the old and the new teams. It was like watching Grey's Anatomy for a minute. I suspect it may have been a requirement to use the oldies a bit more, which can't be easy for Jesse Spencer and Jennifer Morrison, who have had very limited screen time together up to now. Kutner is definitely my favourite of the new gang.
