    How many were there to begin with?

    They're numbers must be starting to thin out a good bit at this stage. Especially after the latest episode.

    The only additions to the group that I can think of are Bernard and Claire's baby.

    There was one survivor from the front end. He died while on the Island.

    There were 49 initial survivors from the middle section, including one baby born on the Island, plus one dog. Of those, ten have died on the Island. 31 survivors have been referred to by name, and 18 remain unnamed.

    There were 22 survivors from the tail section. Of those, eight have died on the Island and 13 have been taken by The Others. 12 survivors have been referred to by name, and 10 remain unnamed.
