A word of warning! I bought this from Deal Extreme and it is very much a 'you get what you pay for' device.

I had a wireless serial server plugged into it which receives packets from a transmitter. With the above device I was getting at least 50% packet loss.

With an Edgeport serial server (a different manufacturer) I had no packet loss.

The serial settings for both were identical.

Take from that what you will.
