Irishman back in Afghanistan

    John D McHugh, an experienced Irish journalist (previous embeds with Canadian and US forces) shot in Afghanistan last year is back in the field again with Charlie Company, 173 airborne brigade....He's going to be there for 6 months, sharing the soldiers experiences alongside them...No politics, no shoot and scoot, just the day to day realities of CI warfare in Afghanistan

    Thought some of you folk might be interested...He's got a blog on the Guardian UK website with Videos etc....
