I know the 6 Nations is not long over but just thought I'd offer a heads up on the Scotland match for next year.

    Scotland v Ireland - Saturday 14 March k/o 5pm
    Adults £60, £45 & £30; U18 £30, £22.50 & £15

Tickets go on sale from the Scottish Rugby Ticket Centre at 9am on Tuesday 6 May.

Supporters will be able to buy online at www.scottishrugby.org; via the credit card hotline 0131 346 5100 (booking fee applies) or in person from the Ticket Centre, Roseburn Street, Edinburgh. You can purchase a maximum of four tickets for the matches with Wales and Ireland and a maximum of eight for the game with Italy. Tickets will not be on sale on match days.

Might be a nice away trip, I've not been over yet.

Couldn't recommend it enough, Edinburgh is a fantastic city, always a great weekend on any 6N occasion..we like to think we've got the market cornered on general craic-laden carry on, but were only in the ha'penny place compared to the Scots....go for it..

Should be no rush to get tickets for Scotland games. I got tickets for the games against England and France this year. England was supposed to be by ballot, but I think they had more tickets for the ballot than applications

Edinburgh is a great city for the rugby or just to visit in general. Had great fun after the Scotland v New Zealand game last year (I am in the Leinster jersey if you can pick me out)

Did everyone get their tickets today? The website was painfully slow but I got through on the phone in 5 mins.

Had a fab time in Edinburgh last year, can't wait for next Feb. Hotel's been booked since the date was organised, all we need now is flights. Anyone know when Aer Lingus and Ryanair open bookings, neither are currently offering flights for that weekend.

Take the car through Belfast. It is cheaper if there are a group of you going. Two seasons ago they had just relaunched the route to Troon which is a considerably shorter drive than Stranraer to Edinburgh. It is seasonal though so it depends on the date of the match versus when they relaunch the service.
